Forum:Best way to request action on mundane things?
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
Sorry, I know that's a terrible title. Basically I wanted to ask because a lot of the things I've tried to do on this wiki feel a little bit like shouting into the void? E.g. standard rules for things like moving an article involve "start a discussion on the talk page", but it doesn't seem like those tend to go anywhere when it's a page no one has a reason to visit – there is some overlap between "minor article nobody much looks at" and "article that maybe should be renamed but it's not cut-and-dried".
More pertinently, I've been the one putting in the crew credits for new episodes since the start of Flux and have thus been requesting updates to the template over at Template talk:Wales crew, which I think is a little bit important since without it lots of credits still aren't visible, but have struggled to get any attention on it for the past year and a half. SOTO, I left a message on your talk page about this, but it doesn't strike me as the most reliable form of communication and of course you're very busy.
TL;DR I really don't want to pester anyone, but sometimes it's a little trying not having any more direct forms of communication than a talk page. Have I missed something obvious that would make this kind of process smoother? Starkidsoph ☎ 05:33, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
