Godfather Sisyphus was a criminal to Faction Paradox, trapped away in their Boulevard of Alternate Brutalities.
He tricked someone into purchasing The Book of the War from Annie on eBay, in exchange for his transference to being a conceptual entity. No matter which path his victim took, however, Sisyphus always stayed trapped in the Boulevard, and his victim stayed with him, repeating his actions to save the Godfather, just as the mythological Sisyphus had pushed his bolder up the hill for all eternity.
