This appears to be a website plug, and one with the same name as a potentially interesting/useful article. Dare I use the D-word? --Gai-jin 14:12, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Delete? No, just a rewrite, and this current article will forever be lost in the archives. Unless, of course, someone does a long revert. ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 15:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Or just remove all content and redirect to the TARDIS page. --Tangerineduel 15:13, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Voila rewrite (and redirect). A fairly dull article but there you go... --Gai-jin 14:18, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Okay now what? Is this guy doing this with any kind of permission from the wiki powers that be or is he just egregiously plugging his own website? I haven't wiped the content this time on the off-chance this is in some way, er, less an annoying abuse of the wiki than it appears to be. --Gai-jin 14:05, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
What's especially charming is the way that talk about the plug gets attached to the 'other' TARDIS scanner entry... --Gai-jin 14:07, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
That's...a little devious (for anyone reading -like me- who couldn't work it out) see Tardis scanner vs TARDIS scanner; also of note is if you put TARDIS Scanner into the search you end up with the feed site. If you go for TARDIS scanner you get the wiki entry.
This does appear to be (albeit minor compared to the expletive floppy expletive) entries. However, I believe we should deal with this in the same manner, Delete it and redirect it to the TARDIS scanner.
This person could doing this on behalf of the wikipowers...however if this person was wouldn't there be an entry in the Forum...or elsewhere? Then there's also the fact it doesn't fit into any of the Manual of Style things or anything along those lines. --Tangerineduel 14:27, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
I don't *think* we can do a redirect this time as there's now a page called TARDIS scanner... we may be able to 'protect' Tardis scanner etc to stop this from happening over and over again.
I don't think this is an official thing either, we have a news feed on the main page anyway. I'm going to wipe the content again, I think. --218.219.239.73 15:17, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
