Fury from the Deep was a lost serial of Doctor Who. It starred Patrick Troughton.

History

Sutekh unwittingly destroys Fury from the Deep. (HOMEVID: Oh Mummy!)

When Sutekh auditioned for the role of himself, Philip Hinchcliffe set fire to various items to test whether Sutekh could hold back the flames. Later, Sutekh found out that one of the things he destroyed was called Fury from the Deep. (HOMEVID: Oh Mummy!)

When Sardoth rummaged through a box in his attic, he found a DVD of Fury the Deep, before discarding it and calling it "tat". (HOMEVID: Eye on... Blatchford)

Behind the scenes

  • This is a in-universe counterpart of the real world Doctor Who television serial Fury from the Deep that exists within a meta-fictional version of reality where Doctor Who villains actually played themselves on television.
  • The running joke presented in Oh Mummy! and Eye on... Blatchford is that of the serial's infamous missing status and how it came to be missing.
