Jeremy Young (28 July 1934-9 April 2022)[1] appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as Kal in An Unearthly Child and Gordon Lowery in Mission to the Unknown.

He shared his memories of the two stories on the 194th edition of Big Finish's charity podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round.

Personal Life and Career[[edit] | [edit source]]

From 1971 to 1976, he was married to Kate O'Mara, who played the the Rani in the later seasons of the original series of Doctor Who. He has the distinction of being the first actor to portray a villain in Doctor Who, and, coincidentally, was wed to another person who played a prominent villain on the show.
