Admiral Nyborg was an Earth Empire officer. After the cephlies destroyed the nanotechnology system on Avalon, he agreed to help the human inhabitants adjust to their new magic-less existence, and establish peaceful relations with the Earth Empire. (PROSE: The Sorcerer's Apprentice)
