Amelia Eve Gibson[3][4] (born 19 June 2004[1]), known professionally as Millie Gibson, is a Mancunian actor[5] who played Ruby Sunday in Doctor Who from 2023 onwards, as the companion to Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor.[2]

Millie Gibson's first role on television was in the CBBC series Jamie Johnson — the first episode of series two, Hero to Zero — in April 2017, until May 2018, with her final episode being series three's eighth episode, Out of the Game. She played Indira.[6] Her next role was in Love, Lies and Records as Mia, in episode three.[7]

Gibson portrayed Kelly Neelan in Coronation Street,[8] beginning in 2019 in a smaller capacity before signing on for a then-permanent role after impressing viewers with her acting.[9] However, in August 2022, Gibson announced her departure from the series,[10] explaining that she wanted wanted to explore different roles while she was still young and had the freedom to do so.[11]
