Paradoxica was a Time Lord device given to the Eighth Doctor by Patience. It was in the form of a deck of cards. The Doctor once used to escape a Judoon fleet. It split him from his companions and gave them both a pack of cards from their memory. Once they activated it from within their aberrant timelines, Andy Davidson kept seeing the past and Tania Bell saw the future, this was due them being dealt cards from the past and future suite respectively. The Doctor was dealt the present hand. It kept repeating time. The Doctor called it a temporal spirit level and he wanted to use it to measure the time lines divergence. (AUDIO: Patience)
