The Redaction was an effect of a psychic virus known as Redacted Distortion which infected the Thirteenth Doctor, causing those who knew the Doctor in their various incarnations to be erased, or more accurately, redacted. While its effects were felt on Earth in 2022, it affected every planet that the Doctor had ever visited. (AUDIO: Rescue, Salvation)
