In 2006, prior to the London UFO crash, Mr Deacy wrote to Who is Doctor Who? regarding MP Joseph Green's recent weight gain, accusing those following it of being conspiracy loonies who really should get out more and grow up. Deacy added that Mr Green was doing a very good job indeed and could well do without this kind of nonsense, adding that they would be saying next that he was really an alien.
