The Investigator is an original series primarily consisting of comics published in TV Century 21, with its first official instalment being printed in issue 74, although its release was led up to by at least one short story.

The series focuses on the titular investigator, Bob Develin, as well as Marc Carter and Inspector Talbot, all of whom work for the U.E.I..

Crossover

Despite being partially published in TV Century 21 - a magazine where all fiction published within shares a universe (including the former The Daleks comic strip), only one instalment of The Investigator crossed over with elements of the Doctor Who universe.

This crossover was in the prequel short story The Investigator [+]Loading...["The Investigator (TV21 short story)"], released one issue prior to its first official instalment. The story featured reference to Unity City (first mentioned in Duel of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Duel of the Daleks (comic story)"]) as part of Marc Carter's biography.
