Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

Shirley, a magician, is on her way to Majesto's magic show, when her car hits a fork in the road - literally, a giant metal fork has burst her tyre! Anxious to get to the show before she's fired, she's relieved to find that she has stopped outside of AAAGH, who are advertising "Any problem fixed instantly. Ask inside".

Inside, Mrs Tinkle introduces herself and her assistant Nervil, before asking how they can help. Shirley asks them for somebody to help pump up her flat tyre. Mrs Tinkle uses her neuro-computer to find the best match for the job, which happens to be a Sontaran.

Three-and-a-half minutes later, the Sontaran has overininflated Shirley's tyres to gigantic size, as he assures her that he will make her "inferior machine" fit for intergalactic war, as Shirley insists she only needs it to get to work. Suddenly, and surely enough, the massive tyres finally explode, leaving the Sontaran disgraced.

Fortunately, Nervil made a back-up plan; placing a Time Beetle on Shirley's back, he asks it to rewind time by 45 minutes, before reminding Shirley to avoid the fork. And so, time rewinds, and Shirley steers past the fork, evading the disaster altogether.
