Rector Adams was a rector who lived near Lady Huntingdon's estate in 1764.
When the Fourth Doctor fell into a lake on the estate, Adams saved him. He took care of the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith while he recovered. He later invited them along to Lady Huntingdon's ball, though he disliked Lady Huntingdon personally. Lady Huntingdon, being an alien in a human disguise who could assume the form of a vicious tiger, shapeshifted and killed him after the ball for fun. (PROSE: Old Flames)
