For those who missed it, a discussion took place and concluded recently at Forum:(SPOILER: The start of RtD2) Quickstart Guides about the creation of a new area of the wiki to host guides. The idea is that these are less encyclopedic articles meant to help new fans get into and find their way around Doctor Who. The discussion concluded that the best way to organise these guides would be to create a new namespace, Guide:. As such, this has been created. Guides are listed and curated at Guide:Index which is also linked on the main page. User:Najawin has provided the first guides, aimed at helping new and returning viewers prepare for the upcoming specials and following season 1/series 14. A particular focus has been placed on viewers who may have been urged to return to the show due to the return of David Tennant and Russell T Davies. Other guides on other topics, as well as edits and contributions to the existing guides, are very welcome.
