Marvel Superhero Universe

In Earth-33⅓, Marvel Comics eventually brought Dr Who into the Marvel Superhero Universe. After the fact, the Fourth Doctor took to wearing a mask and once told Leela that "being a Time Lord brings with it great responsibility". On one adventure, the Doctor and Leela headed to the rooftops with Leela cursing "those cosmic rays". (COMIC: Doctor Who? (DWM 191 comic story))

Behind the scenes

"Marvel Superhero Universe" is either a misnomer or an ambiguity created from the difference between the publication terminology of "shared universe" with universes in the cosmological sense in-universe, as even back when DWM 191 was published there were superhero characters published by Marvel set in a non-mainstream reality to Peter Parker of the Spider-Man comics and the Avengers. Since that issue, multiple universes with "Marvel superheroes" (some sharing identical names of characters) became more prevalent following examples like the Spider-Verse comics and films, Sony's Spider-Man Universe, and 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home.
