While posing as the Last of the Mappers in the Plume Coteries' Library, Auteur backed up his claim of having spent aeons travelling the Multiverse by claiming, among other things, to be familiar with the Interdimensional Black Market and "its Queen". He additionally claimed to have "given [her] some fashion pointers […] inspired by a little something from home". Behind the scenes

The Queen of the Interdimensional Black Market, or simply "Queen of the Black Market", is a recurring character from The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids. She is almost never seen without her trademark bone armour; as such, Auteur's claim to have given her fashion pointers — an obvious reference to his former membership in Faction Paradox, an organisation whose members also dressed in skeletal amour — is an early clue about the Mapper not being as ancient as he claimed to be.
