Production Error[[edit source]]
There's a point in the 'production error' section that I wish to dispute:
The string controlling the bat that lands on the stairway railing is very obvious.
Yes, it is obvious, however the entire haunted house was meant to be fake, created by humans - so is this really an error? If the bat wasn't supposed to be a real bat in the story, then is showing the string that controls it really an error? In my opinion this needs to be removed. --RomanaOnCaprica ☎ 13:02, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
I've just come here to make the same point. I agree with Romana on this one.165.225.80.232talk to me 15:58, July 20, 2017 (UTC)
Fungoids[[edit source]]
Why are the fungoids referred to as "living plants"? Aren't all plants alive? 165.225.80.69talk to me 14:46, August 3, 2016 (UTC)
Pre-companion appearances[[edit source]]
"Actor Peter Purves ... became the first actor to appear in a guest-starring capacity before being offered a regular role. This also occurred with Ian Marter, Freema Agyeman and Karen Gillan..."
Could Lalla Ward and Colin Baker be added to this exclusive club? 165.225.80.69talk to me 14:54, August 3, 2016 (UTC)
Black Dalek[[edit source]]
"The story contains a significant franchise first: the earliest appearance in the TV series of a character originating in spin-off media. The Black Dalek (later distinguished as the "Black Dalek Leader") was a recurring character in the contemporary comic series, The Daleks, and debuted in Duel of the Daleks #3 almost a month before the premier of "The Executioners". The Black Dalek would go on to feature in numerous other episodes, comics and audio stories throughout the decades. However, its identity as the same Dalek was not established in The Chase itself but by the Target novelisations written by John Peel,"
I'm not sure this is right. The Black Dalek appears in The Dalek Invasion of Earth. Even the Black Dalek wiki page confirms this. Am I missing something? 92.39.196.182talk to me
