Merger change[[edit source]]

This page originally had a merge tag left by User:Scrooge MacDuck which said:

It should be relocated at N-Space because hang on now, isn't this pretty definitionally "the main universe" insofar as that's a meaningful term?

This was added to by User:Editoronthewiki

It should be relocated at N-Space because hang on now, isn't this pretty definitionally "the main universe" insofar as that's a meaningful term? Alternatively, if it is to be kept due to The Horror, it should be moved to the Doctor's timeline (An Unearthly Child)

I have now edited the merge tag to

It should be relocated at The Doctor because This page isn't about "reality" nor the universe, but is focused on the Doctor and their alternate affects on the universe, and therefore should be located on their page.

The page's focus is far too narrow to be merged into N-Space, and entirely about the Doctor's life / alternates of their life, and therefore should be merged into the Doctor's page. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:47, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

I don't really see where it would go at The Doctor, though I agree this page has never quite fitted in with its supposed relatives e.g. Virgin reality/The Doctor's reality (Death Comes to Time)/etc. Maybe The Doctor's time stream? It certainly covers a lot of the same ground as The Doctor's early life, as well… Scrooge MacDuck 15:18, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
There's really only 4 paragraphs that need dealing with and of those they're mostly covered on the Doctor page.
The Barber-Surgeon stuff the same on The Doctor page.
The essence of Auld Mortality's universe is also covered on the Doctor's page.
That leaves the "film evidence" Dr.Who and the Daleks, and a bit on the Possibility Generator which can go on the Doctor page or elsewhere.
But history merger wise I think the Doctor page fits better than the Doctor's time stream, especially from looking at what info is already existing at the pages. --Tangerineduel / talk 06:41, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
