Ian Richardson CBE (7 April 1934-9 February 2007[1]) narrated Dæmos Rising.

He was also the father of Miles Richardson who appeared in Dæmos Rising. He was also the father-in-law of Beverley Cressman.

Career[[edit] | [edit source]]

He was best known for his role as Francis Urquhart in the House of Cards trilogy.

Richardson was a founding member of the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1960.

Lance Parkin and Mark Clapham co-created an incarnation of the Doctor with Richardson's appearance for a series of fan novellas. This incarnation, said to be the Doctor's 42nd, was originally meant to appear in the epilogue of The Dying Days.
