Is there a reason that for all the multi-part DWBIT comic stories, that many parts share the exact same image? (Example: Beneath the Skin, The Sky Below, Beyond the Sea, Lonely Planet). This continues throughout the magazine's run. -- Tybort (talk page) 16:07, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

A policy reason? Not as such, no. The practical reason was probably because the editor who did that — most likely The Librarian — wanted to indicate that the named "episodes" were all the same story. These BIT images have evolved over the years. At first they all had the same pic.

It's sort of a tricky situation to deal with, though. I'm not entirely sure we ever agreed, as a community, that these BIT "episodes" would be on different pages. I don't know whether they're best thought of as Hartnell serials (in which case we'd put 'em all on one page) or as BBC Wales multi-parters (in which case, we wouldn't). It might be just as well to collapse them all on a page titled with the first part (and keep redirects from the other episodic titles). The BIT stuff is really quite anamolous, so it might be worth talking about a bit.
