The Time Sickness was a comic story published in Doctor Who The Official Annual 2009. It was written by Trevor Baxendale.

The Doctor and Donna arrive on a mysterious planet after receiving a distress signal. The Doctor says this planet is disintegrating and Donna ages at least fifty years.

  • Donna says Methuselah "doesn't exactly look like a picnic spot".
  • Donna thinks of a hypothetical "picnic spot distress signal" scenario in which someone's salmon sandwiches are trying to take over the world.
  • The Doctor jokingly calls the rapidly-aged Donna "grandma".
