Jeremy Ruston
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Jeremy Ruston was the writer of the video game Doctor Who: The First Adventure.
Working as a programmer, written books on the BBC Micro and making computer animations for BBC Children's TV, 15-year-old Ruston, who was a huge Doctor Who fan, was comissioned by BBC Publications to make The First Adventure, despite not being a game designer or a gamer. He would develop the game in "a restrictive amount of time" with levels inspired by the video games Pac-Man, Frogger, Space Invaders, and Battleship. After The First Adventure was released and became a critical and commercial failure, he never worked on another game.[1][2]
