"Full automation", driven by the intelligence of the Cyberium, was Ashad's ideal for the Cybermen which would be achieved once they made "the final ascension to full mechanisation. As the Spy Master disappointedly observed, this essentially made them robots. Following the far future Cyber-Wars, Ashad saw that an army of Cyber-Warriors had their organic components removed, and he himself intended to make the ascension, but was killed by the Master before he could do so. (TV: The Timeless Children)

During the reprisal of the Thal-Dalek battle, the First Doctor observed that the assembly line that placed the newly grown Dalek mutants into their casings was fully automated. (AUDIO: Return to Skaro) The Dalek Asylum was initially fully automated before Oswin Oswald hacked into the facility's systems and left it a ruin. (TV: Asylum of the Daleks)

In 2065, an "automatic space mayday" was sent out by a space freighter while it was in Area 4 of Sector 25. (COMIC: The Batmen (part 1) [+]Loading...{"part":"1","1":"The Batmen (comic story)"})
