Edmund Warwick

Edmund Warwick (15 July 1907-21 December 1989[1]) played Darrius in the Doctor Who television story The Keys of Marinus and, wearing a similar wig, stood in for William Hartnell in The Dalek Invasion of Earth after Hartnell hurt himself and could not put in a full appearance. (DWM 280) Though he arguably did not resemble Hartnell very much facially, he also played the Robot Doctor in The Chase.

Warwick's other credits included roles on The Adventures of Sir Lancelot (which starred William Russell), The Buccaneers, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Emergency – Ward 10, Z-Cars, No Hiding Place, Sergeant Cork and Quick Before They Catch Us.
