The Bios project was a little-known U.K. equivalent of the United States of America's Operation Paperclip. Following (HOMEVID: Fog ^[+]Loading...["Fog (home video)"]) his apparent death in 2000, the captive Sontaran Commander Brak, who had been retrieved by the British from enemy custody in 1918 following World War I, and had been coaxed into sharing some advanced technology with them, (AUDIO: Old Soldiers ^[+]Loading...["Old Soldiers (BBV audio story)"]) took on the code-name "Field Marshal Bios" as part of the increased security which now surrounded him.
