Dandelion

Dandelions were Earth flowers.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Fourth Doctor came across a pulverised dandelion on the grounds of a Ministry of Defence research facility where components from a vault had been stolen, pointing out to Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart that the force needed to do such a thing had to weigh a quarter ton. The Tenth Doctor once wondered if dandelion was an ingredient in dandelion and burdock. (PROSE: Sick Building [+]Loading...["Sick Building (novel)"])

One was supposed to be able to tell time by counting how many puffs it takes to blow all seeds, called filamentous achenes, off a dandelion clock. In 2016, Tanya Adeola discovered that this method did not work. The female bone spider added homing devices to filamentous achenes to bring her daughter back. This resulted in attracting Tanya and Amira to Alice Parsons' house instead. (PROSE: The Stone House [+]Loading...["The Stone House (novel)"])
