Chernigov

Chernigov was a city in Europe located south-west of Moscow. The city was shown on Yevhen's map of 13th century Russia. In or before 1240, the city was conquered and destroyed by the Mongol Empire during their invasion of Russia. (PROSE: Bunker Soldiers)

In the modern day real world, Chernigov (spelled Chernihiv) is located in northern Ukraine. During the Mongol invasion depicted in Bunker Soldiers, the city was the capital of the Principality of Chernigov.
