This Mother was the Mother of a young woman who became a victim of the Krafayis. When the Doctor, Amy Pond and Vincent van Gogh went to the scene of the crime, the Mother felt Vincent was at hand to her daughter's death and called him a 'madman' and blamed his madness for the death. She immediately told him to leave while other onlookers threw items at him, the Doctor and Amy, thus making them leave. Later on, when on the way to paint, Vincent, the Doctor and Amy encountered the Mother again who this time was walking alongside the coffin of her daughter. On top of the coffin were some Sunflowers, a flower that would in the future become synonymous with Vincent van Gogh. (DW: Vincent and the Doctor)
