Vyv was a character associated with Rik Mayall.

After seeing Miranda Dawkins do impressions of friends and other people, Bob told her that he "could only do Rik Mayall". As he performed his impression, he referenced an individual called "Vyv". (PROSE: Father Time [+]Loading...["Father Time (novel)"])

Behind the scenes

Although unstated in Father Time, Bob was specifically performing an impression of Mayall's character of Rick from the 1980s television series The Young Ones. The character he was referencing was Vyvyan "Vyv" Basterd, portrayed by Adrian Edmondson.
