Azbantium was a mineral 400 times harder than diamond. (TV: Heaven Sent [+]Loading...["Heaven Sent (TV story)"]) Corinthiun ghosts couldn't pass through it. (PROSE: Extraction Point [+]Loading...["Extraction Point (novel)"])

A twenty feet thick barrier of it appeared within the Twelfth Doctor's confession dial. In an effort to escape his confinement, the Doctor wore it away by punching at it (TV: Heaven Sent [+]Loading...["Heaven Sent (TV story)"]) over a period of four and a half billion years. (TV: Hell Bent [+]Loading...["Hell Bent (TV story)"]) A spade in the confession dial was made of an amalgam of duralinium and dwarf star alloy, a combination theoretically strong enough to cut azbantium, but the Doctor never used it on the wall. (PROSE: The Veil [+]Loading...["The Veil (short story)"])

The lift shafts on Satellite Five were lined with azbantium. Their properties were used by the show Ghost v Whatever to trap and kill ghosts in the satellite's lifts. (PROSE: Extraction Point [+]Loading...["Extraction Point (novel)"])
