Article fabricated, ahem, whole cloth

Is this term ever used in the DWU? Or is this entire thing a violation of T:NO RW? Najawin 21:05, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

Yeah, there are a lot of clothing related articles like this. In some cases these articles also contradict sources, like tweed and leather jacket. I'd say they would need to be rewritten with a conjecture tag, but that's easier said than done. BlueSupergiant 22:07, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
Overall, the efforts of the IP user are appreciated, although they aren't familiar with our policies such as T:NO RW and T:NPOV — I really wish the IP user had an account so we could talk to them about this.

There's a lot about the clothing articles that strikes me as bizarre. Calling a pattern a pattern falls under the blender exception I think but there's a lot of reference to materials that certain items are made of and like, beyond that one very specific leather jacket that has a note all to itself in the comments, I struggle to believe that many sources name materials for the clothing, and identifying a material visually is surely hit-or-miss. (Also the structure of these articles is weird grammatically and the citations are often formatted weirdly too. The colour articles have a similar problem, plus the added wrinkle of identifying colours being subjective to an extent) - CodeAndGin | 🗨 | 00:27, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
