The Black Archive facility in Alexandria built underneath the ruins of an ancient archive of alien artefacts connected to the Library of Alexandria and the Pharos Lighthouse. This Black Archive recovered much of this older collection, having various technologies from aliens which had influenced humanity in the past, including Daemons and Osirans. In the 2010s, UNIT operatives routinely collected more alien artefacts for this Black Archive by finding buried structures in the Sahara Desert.
