A street in Sheffield was the location of Graham and Grace O'Brien's home, number 36.
History
Please help by adding some more information.
Number 36, was, according to a plaque, constructed in the 1890s. (TV: Arachnids in the UK [+]Loading...["Arachnids in the UK (TV story)"])
Behind the scenes
- Dialogue in Arachnids in the UK [+]Loading...["Arachnids in the UK (TV story)"] implies that the location of the street is more-or-less analogous to the real world filming location, Shrewsbury Road. While props used in the episode[1][2] indicate that the street was rather named Mortimer Avenue, this does not necessarily preclude the geographical position being different.
Location information
Though it's possible that a real world location doesn't exist in the same geographic space in the Doctor Who universe, such cases are few and far between. Thus, the map to the right is probably a good indicator of the DWU location of Mortimer Avenue.
