This page is for discussing the ways in which Thin Ice doesn't fit well with other DWU narratives. You can also talk about the plot holes that render its own, internal narrative confusing.
Remember, this is a forum, so civil discussion is encouraged. However, please do not sign your posts. Also, keep all posts about the same continuity error under the same bullet point. You can add a new point by typing:

- Bill claims she has never seen a person die before, yet she was present when the Vardy killed one of the human settlers in the previous episode (a few hours ago in the show's continuity).
- It probably happened too fast to really register with her as a death. Plus Spider was a child so it's understandable that she would she be particularly upset about it.
- How did the fish pass through London Bridge (which was the old bridge with narrow arches) without damaging it?
- Maybe the fish very flexible and can squeeze its way through the arches.
- It is stated that the waste from the creature (poop) is more efficient that coal. Sutcliffe decides to blow up the ice using the poop. But, coal is not an explosive!
- It is more efficient than coal, nobody said that it was coal. The waste could be very explosive.
- What has become of the fish since its appearance in 1814?
- We don't know. This is not a discontinuity.
- The very first shot, with the elephant, is vastly different from the shot at the end of TV: Smile - it is now snowing much heavier than before, and the whole fair had magically appeared in the background.
- Watch some episodes from the Hartnell era - this used to happen all the time.
- Haha yeah I loved that, it's because they would act the scene twice, once at the end of recording an episode one Friday, and again at the beginning of the next episode next Friday.
- I think we can simply assume that a few minutes pass between the end of Smile and the beginning of Thin Ice.

- How were the Doctor and Bill able to breathe underwater when no-one was pumping them air?
- Those suits came from the TARDIS. Perhaps they were future/alien tech modified to enable them to breath without pumped air.
- When giving Bill instructions to the TARDIS wardrobe, he misses out two instructions that his Ninth incarnation once gave to Rose Tyler in The Unquiet Dead (TV story), is this not an error?
- The interior of the Tardis can change
- Bill wore an ivory cravat. A lovely one. A big sign she's a feminist icon. Many see men wear cravats. Why did she wear a cravat?
