- All Kickstarter backers, and purchases of LYT 1 made directly via Cutaway Comics included an additional "Lytton Cutaway" DVD including an introduction to the series, an accompanying video commentary on Issue 1 featuring Eric Saward, Barry Renshaw and Matt Charlton, and an audio commentary for The Caves of Androzani.
- The individual cover images featured a variety of different cover dates based on when publicity pictures were released, but in the final print run, all covers were marked with a cover date of September 2020.
- For unknown reasons, Colin Brockhurst's name was omitted from Cover C of this issue.
- For Kickstarter backers only, Barry Renshaw made a special "Ashcan" Preview Edition cover, which was limited to 30 backers.
