Actor
What do we do about the actor field in the infobox for this page? There are multiple people, and no individual incarnation pages where each is given credit. Do we simply follow suit and delete the field anyway?--Skittles the hog - talk 13:01, September 15, 2012 (UTC)
- Usually we go by who has done the most episodes, but here I'e decided to go eith who was in the longest episode, sense each was in one episode, and it's John Arnatt, who was in a 150 minuet episode. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 14:30, September 15, 2012 (UTC)
- To nitpick, he's actually in 5 X 25 minute episodes. A 6 part story is 6 episodes, not 1.165.225.76.164talk to me 16:07, June 11, 2018 (UTC)
Name change
Surely the name change is neither necessary or practical? Yes, we have a full name for the character. But the doesn't mean that someone will know to type that first name into our search bar? It's like how Ace shouldn't be Dorothy McShane. Borusa is Borusa. OS25🤙☎️ 00:12, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- That's not the best precedent — we are here talking about a full name vs. a last name, not about an adopted name versus a completely different birth name. Besides, the main reason we have Ace at "Ace" rather than something like "Dorothy McShane" or "Ace McShane" is nothing to do with such concerns, but rather, that accounts disagree on her last name: it was Gale in her TV era, but mistakenly changed to McShane in the Virgin era, and it's stuck ever since.
- That being said, I agree that this page should clearly stay at Borusa, although a redirect should exist at Fuldanquin Borusa. Our very direct precedent here is that we do not place Time Lords' pages at their full names if they have a commonly-used shorter name. Romana is not at Romanadvoratrelundar. - I don't think Fuldanquin Borusa and Romanadvoratrelundar are directly comparable, though. Other Time Lords with two names like Livia Caralis and Danna Dementara have pages with their full names. Jack "BtR" Saxon ☎ 11:53, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
