"This Time There's Three of Us (The Majestic Tale)" was a musical piece composed by Murray Gold.

It was used in the 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, as the War Doctor, Tenth Doctor and Eleventh Doctor devise their plan in the barn.

The piece is significant due to the fact that its melody would later become one of the leitmotifs for the Twelfth Doctor, known as The Shepherd's Boy or Breaking the Wall (albeit in 3/4 time rather than 4/4). The piece also features a version of the Eleventh Doctor's leitmotif, I Am The Doctor.

The piece is featured on Murray Gold's soundtrack Doctor Who - The Day of The Doctor / The Time of The Doctor.
