Art Decade

"Art Decade", originally titled "Art Critic Decade", was a song written by David Bowie in 1977. It was the second track on side two of Low, the first half of his double album Low/Profile. The song ran for 3 minutes and 46 seconds, and was an instrumental lamentation about the hangover he experienced the morning after an all night drinking party with Panda, when Iris Wildthyme found Bowie asleep beneath the kitchen table at the back of his studio and remarked that "it [would] take the poor bugger a decade to get over one of Panda’s hangovers." The song was preceded by "Warszawa" and followed by "Weeping Wall". (PROSE: Low/Profile [+]Loading...["Low/Profile (short story)"])
