In a parallel world, Donna Noble tried to insult a woman standing in the doorway by calling her "Vera Duckworth" and telling her to "Go and feed t' whippets.". (TV: Turn Left)

Vera Duckworth was a long-standing character on Coronation Street. The character was killed off from the series six months before Turn Left was broadcast.
