Huguenot

The Huguenots were a group of French Protestants, many of whom were killed in the St Bartholomew's Day massacre on 24 August 1572. (TV: The Massacre ^[+]Loading...["The Massacre (TV story)"]) However, many other Huguenots left France and settled in Wandsworth, London, near the River Wandle. Among them was an ancestor of Dodo Chaplet. She had discovered this while researching her family tree for a school project. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy ^[+]Loading...["Who Killed Kennedy (novel)"])
