Aegean Sea

The Greek island of Minos was located in the Aegean Sea. (AUDIO: The Jago & Litefoot Revival) Macedon had a coast on the Aegean Sea. (AUDIO: Farewell, Great Macedon) The city of Byzantium, later known as Constantinople and Istanbul, was usually approached from the Aegean Sea, after which ships would pass through the Hellespont and the Sea of Marmara before arriving at the city.
