"I've Got a Dog" was a song The Beatles were recording when the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday visited EMI Recording Studios in 1963. (TV: The Devil's Chord [+]Loading...["The Devil's Chord (TV story)"]). When Maestro manifested at the Royal Albert Hall, they compelled the orchestra to play the song, feasting on the dissonance it created in the audience, before being banished by the audience's applause halting the music. Known Lyrics[[edit] | [edit source]]

I've got a dog,
He's called Fred.
My dog is alive,
He's not dead.
I love my dog,
He loves me too.
I haven't got a cat,
Only a dog.

My dog, my dog,
My dog, my dog,
I've got a dog,
I love my dog.
He's my dog,
He's not your dog,
If you want a dog,
Get your own.

Behind the Scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Russell T Davies admitted that he had good fun writing "bad songs" on Doctor Who: Unleashed, explaining that he got the inspiration for writing the song about a dog because he imagined that the songs in a musicless world would be "doggerel".
