The Outside, or outside outside, was another reality, described as a universe of energy that was accessed by Heinrich Schumann's teleportation device. Rachel Jensen theorised that something being teleported through the device was probably sent into hyperspace, possibly crossing all universes, for hundreds of years.
It was home to energy creatures that existed as a collective, as their own reality, (AUDIO: Threshold) as well as demonic bat creatures. (AUDIO: State of Emergency)
