Is this page necessary[[edit source]]

How do we know that this color's name is the same as the DWU? I mean to say, is this color actually mentioned by name in the cited sources? If not, then shouldn't this page be deleted? Shambala108 23:16, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

I've put some thoughts on this issue at Talk:Olive (colour). Ideally we'd need a forum thread, for an issue affecting so many pages, but in the meantime, let's discuss it there for lack of a better place, rather than spread it out over a dozen talk page; the argument is pretty much the same in all cases. Notes and Tardis:Colour spectrum policy[[edit source]]

I've added content to support this article. The content concerning safari suits/jackets have left, despite not having a direct source within their TV stories.

However The Greatest Show in the Galaxy [+]Loading...["The Greatest Show in the Galaxy (novelisation)"]) establishes that the outfit that Captain Cook wears is khaki, so the TV story is also cited, with an image.

As the other TV stories that also cite a 'khaki safari jacket' are of the same or similar design to Captain Cook's costume, I've left these examples under a separate sub-heading.

I believe this falls within the conjectural reasoning within the Tardis:Colour spectrum policy. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
