One account, which disputed the existence of the "so-called" Futu dynasty, suggested that the Shang Dynasty, which spanned the 18th to 12th century BC, would be consistent with Lin Futu, based on archeological discoveries made at the burial site of Fu Hao, a royal member of that dynasty.
