The Gamemaster played a game of interplanetary Kerplunk! with Iris Wildthyme.

Iris lost a wager to the Gamemaster and thus had to spend her next incarnation as a marionette puppet with a long nose and chin. This Iris could possess people by latching onto their arms and talking through their mouths. (PROSE: The Golden Hendecahedron [+]Loading...["The Golden Hendecahedron (short story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

As an entity who plays games with other beings and turns them into living marionettes if they lose, the Gamemaster is an obvious analogue of the Toymaker, although, as with many Iris Wildthyme concepts, it is unclear whether he should be interpreted as the Toymaker by a different name, or simply as a coexisting, highly similar being serving as a light parody of the original.
