Vartaq Veil

The Vartaq Veil was the location of a Dyson sphere. The tidal stresses on the sphere broke it into fragments, leaking out the atmosphere. Its inhabitants became nomadic and migrated from fragment to fragment. In the 26th century, Bernice Summerfield went on an archaeological expedition to the Veil prior to her travels with the Seventh Doctor. The quietness of Moloch reminded her of the Veil. In a dream induced by the Doctor to bring up emotional memories, Bernice was in the Veil and asked a Vart about the whereabouts of her father. (PROSE: Lucifer Rising)
