Melody Maker was a music reviewing publication. Upon the release of the David Bowie album Low in 1977, Melody Maker said it was "a triumph of modern musical art," but stated that it suffered from a shorter-than-anticipated running time and that "the ideas and innovative melodies on show might have benefited from further exploration."
