The "sonic spatula" was, despite its name, seemingly an ordinary spatula.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

When Doctor Doctor's "illusion anti-gravity football" was stuck out of reach in the STARSHED, he attempted to use his "sonic spatula" to get it down, warning Patience Patience to stand back. Upon observing that it "[wasn't] working", Patience found this obvious, telling him that it was "just a spatula", although the Doctor consoled the spatula upon hearing this, telling it not to listen to her. The spatula was later present on a rack in the STARSHED, next to the shower. (TV: The Doctor, Doctor Returns! [+]Loading...["The Doctor, Doctor Returns! (TV story)"], The Alien King of Splargle comes for tea! [+]Loading...["The Alien King of Splargle comes for tea! (TV story)"], etc.)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

The sonic spatula is a clear parody of the Doctor's sonic screwdriver.
