Cwmtaff was a small village in Wales, which in 2020 was home to a large drilling operation led by Dr. Nasreen Chaudhry and Tony Mack. Few people lived in the village, and most were related, according to resident Ambrose Northover, who lived there with her husband Mo and son Elliot. The Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams visited Cwmtaff and became involved in the Human/Silurian conflict there. (DW: The Hungry Earth / Cold Blood)
